About

I am interested in highly interdisciplinary problems of physics, mathematics, cognitive science and computational biology. In cognitive science, I am interested in the cognitive/emotional processes of decision-making and attention in humans.  In computational biology, I am concerned with understanding the molecular dynamic simulation of the Bax peptide and its interaction with the mitochondrial membrane.  In environmental science, I am interested in developing a rigorous mathematical model for sustainability.
While mathematics provides a clear language from which to approach many complex physical problems, I also have interest in purely mathematical problems, such as chaotic tilings, Hopf algebras, algebraic topology, knot theory and quandles. I have an interest in applications of geometric algebra to quantum mechanics and special/general relativity .
