About
Reduced attention control and biased emotion processing are key cognitive risk factors thought to play a causal role the development, severity and recurrence of depression and co-morbid disorders such as anxiety. My research uses a multi-method, multiple-levels of-analysis approach of examining cognitive function that leverages a combination of behavioral (e.g. eye tracking, accuracy and reaction times) and neural (e.g. EEG/ERP) measures. Through this approach, my research aims to (1) help facilitate a more fine-grained understanding of what it means to be at risk for psychopathology, and (2) develop novel, hypothesis-driven therapies designed to remediate this risk.
