About
My research aims to uncover and develop supplementary tools for data analysis and knowledge discovery germane to contemporary Geographic Information Science, Urban and Ecological systems research. Some of the prevailing research lines of interest encompassed by the afore mentioned aims include Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) time series data analysis, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Hidden Markov Modelling (HMM), Bayesian inference and forecasting. The outcomes of my research are broadly applicable to an interdisciplinary range of related topics including but not limited to Smart city urban development, climate science, energy and natural resources management, environmental and civic governance policy, public health, and social justice. I am also interested in the utilization of digital visualization technologies, civic big data, Python programming, and machine learning algorithms for improving the quantity and quality of information used in support of civic decision making.
