Abstract

A Public Health Perspective of Women’s Mental Health examines major issues in the organization, financing, and provision of women’s mental health services. It also presents an overview of the epidemiology of mental disorders across the lifespan of women, an in-depth discussion of selected mental and substance use disorders which particularly affect women, and include an examination of emerging issues in women’s mental health.
