Big Data Curriculum in the Field of Information Science

Abstract

Big Data generates challenges not only for researchers but also for educators. How have Information Science educators adapted to this new paradigm? We empirically examined all library schools’ curricula in North America and found that only a minority of schools offer Big Data courses in their curriculum
