Abstract
Metrics and visibility tools are advancing at a fast pace and in many cases, faculty and researchers are unaware of the best ways to use available resources to best demonstrate their impact in their academic Aelds. Librarians at the University of South Florida (USF) Libraries endeavored to look at the literature and other available information on current best practices related to faculty and graduate impact and visibility services. In addition, the investigators are seeking the best ways to combine current related offerings at the USF Libraries. To best serve the libraries community and our academic users, the authors set to update and create a more comprehensive and cohesive planning, implementation, marketing, and assessment regarding these increasingly important collection tools and services. This is to further the ongoing effort at the USF Libraries to help an entire team of research and instruction librarians better serve the tenure, promotion, and visibility needs of faculty and students in all subject areas.
