Abstract

The  HHS National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center  hosted a 90-minute webinar that highlights emerging trends, case studies, and best practices for providing supportive and comprehensive services for individuals with disabilities.
At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to
  • Investigate bias, stigmas, and risk factors that may lead to victimization of individuals with disabilities
  • Examine perspectives from researchers, service providers, and leaders to understand contributing factors to susceptibility to trafficking and discuss prevention from each of these lenses
Identify promising practices and service responses that address underlying issues that can put individuals with disabilities at risk.
